Specific Learning Disabilities:
A specific learning disability refers to when an individual is able to do well in some aspects of learning but has unexpected problems with other areas (Woodcock, Dixon & Tanner 2013). For example: dyslexia (difficulty reading), dyscalculia (difficulty with number skills) and dysgraphia (difficulty with writing).
