Gifted and Talented (G&T):
Gifted and Talented students include students from all types of communities and backgrounds. According to NSW DET (2004), the term ‘gifted’ refers to ‘potential distinctly beyond the average for the student’s age and encompasses a broad range of abilities in the intellectual, creative, socio-emotional and physical domains’ whereas talented signifies achievement beyond average as a result of practice and training.
